"One wonders what would happen if everyone truly would learn from history. One of the simultaneous beauties and shortcomings of the human race, though, is our capacity to forget. Sometimes, that's a good thing. But there are other times that this very tendency dooms us to repeat things that should never have happened in the first place." Taunton Gazette - Kristina Fontes

Having Thanksgiving

Do you gather with loved ones for Thanksgiving?  Are you thankful?  What is it that you are thankful for?  All of these are really good questions.  Maybe some of the most common thoughts during this Thanksgiving season.  But who are you thanking?  Have you stopped to consider what being thankful is?  Do you throw your thanks to the wind?  Did the wind give you these things you are thankful for?  Did you earn these things or were they gifts?  Could you ever really earn these things your thankful for?

"Come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods."Ps95:2-3

I'VE SEEN THOSE FIREWORKS

Do you have the heart to watch the video within this article.  Some of our visitors don't.  If you do, you will see a beautiful firework just like we have at home.

Do you understand what it means to not know if your child will ever speak, understand or sing like this dad said?  Never know for sure what their future holds or how best to prepare them for it?

Despite the lies that have been told about us and the money that's been stolen from us, every day I will tell you - we are doing the right things.  Can you say the same for yourself?

We have living proof that getting these children what they need makes a difference.  A HUGE difference in their lives.  It is worth every second and every cent.

But how much more could we do without the burden?  How much better would all the childrens' lives be if there were no turmoil?  Do you help the children or the greedy?

The taxpayers of Massachusetts deserve to know about it.

But for an absence, for someone who was never there at all, we are wordless to capture that particular emptiness. For those who deeply want children and are denied them, those missing babies hover like silent, ephemeral shadows over their lives. Who can describe the feel of a tiny hand that is never held?" ~ Laura Bush

To accept grace is the vow to give it. You don’t endorse the deeds of your offender when you do. Jesus didn’t endorse your sins by forgiving you.... Grace sees the hurt full well. But it refuses to let hurts poison the heart. Where grace is lacking, bitterness abounds. Where grace abounds, forgiveness grows.

There are some good folks left in this world.

Awesome Erin!!

Thanks for saying what most decent people already knew.  She's the kind of mom I'd want as my friend.

I'm glad she has girls, at least a few up and coming little girls will not learn to abuse the system.

Truth never goes out of style.

“So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.
Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life.
Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people.
Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place.
Show respect to all people and grovel to none.
When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living.
If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself.
Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way.
Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.” Tecumseh

"I am confident that, in the end, common sense and justice will prevail. I'm an optimist, brought up on the belief that if you wait to the end of the story, you get to see the good people live happily ever after."

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

As we approach another Father's Day, I wanted to remind you that children should not view their father as a source of money as the child support industry would like you all to 'buy' into.  Rather, every child needs their father for who he is and what only he - as a part of who they are and as their parent - can offer them.  There is no replacement, for what parent cannot see themselves in their own child?   Children need both loving parents (that includes the father).

.... A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.

.
Consider me truly blessed that my children have this.

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. FOR WITH THE MEASURE YOU USE, IT WILL BE MEASURED TO YOU."--Luke 6:38

Truth, like the sun, submits to be obscured;
but like the sun, only for a time.

I said it cause I could. Keep saying it cause I can. Cause it's true. Cause telling what's true ain't no problem. Cause if you ain't telling what's true you can't tell it too many places without getting some trouble. You don't hear much from people who haven't told the truth. If you ever had a legitimate complaint, and you've told so many lies for so long - no one will be listening if you finally tell the truth.
